• Key member of the corporate decision-making team – the go-to advisor for strategic and expert advice for the CEO, Board and Executive Team on laws and regulations, compliance, public policy, ethics, and risk. Advise Management and directors on internal investigations, regulatory enforcement, securities litigation, business strategy and operations, antitrust concerns, etc.

• Oversaw and managed the post-incorporation processes of the ABB entity in Ghana; supported new country entry processes and initiatives in Ghana.• Counselled the Country Management Teams and Regional Leadership Team on corporate, governance and regulatory compliance matters. Instigated compliance actions in relation to the Nigerian Content law, NIPEX, ITF, NSITF and other regulations.• Was responsible for Legal approvals for ABB Group entity level controls. Member of Country Crisis Management Team.• Developed and implemented the Local Instruction for transactions in high risk countries in Nigeria. • Supported the Integrity Programme Implementation Review for ABB in Nigeria and developed and oversaw the Country Management Action Plan for the implementation of recommended actions.• Managed and supervised external counsel on all aspects of commercial litigation, arbitration and claims including case strategy, preparation for hearings and depositions, etc.

• Was legal representative in Holdings and Treasury Project Team – a multi-disciplinary (Tax, Treasury, Controllers, Insurance and Legal) team that reviewed, approved and oversaw the implementation of all corporate projects in the Shell Group.• Advised on, negotiated and concluded the bible of agreements for the Blyth Wind Farm, the first UK offshore wind farm, including shareholder agreements and agreements for trading of carbon credits, construction agreement, etc.• Key contributor to the Shell Group Binding Corporate Rules.
