Currently serve as the Content Manager for the ASTD Forum and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ASTD CoPs. Full responsibility for design of all learning venues for the Forum including the Lab, Summit, ASTD International Conference & Expo sessions, and monthly virtual interactive vSessions. Employees of the 50 member organizations connect, collaborate, and learn through codesigning on common problems-of-practice, networking to build relationships for exchanging practices, measuring, and sharing lessons learned in a lab environment.

Assisted the Commandant/President of a $100M+ corporate university with a variety of organizational learning initiatives. DAU develops and provides 24/7 learning assets to 130,000+ members of the defense acquisition community through training, consulting, research, and knowledge management. Scope of personal portfolio:• Led special change projects such as Leadership Development Strategy/Implementation and other organizational assessments including writing the 2004 application for the National Baldrige Award in the Education category• Developed web-based modules and communities of practice (CoPs) sites • Performed continual improvement of major processes such as Human Capital based on the President’s Management Agenda using a variety of feedback mechanisms including corporate surveys• Taught both executive level, case-based, resident course for program management leadership and the blended project management tools course• Interacted extensively with senior executives throughout the Department of Defense and other agencies as well as corporate executives• Established action-learning approach to organizational improvement by partnering with the UMICH School of Business (Noel Tichy). Resulted in the first DAU orientation program and a Return on Investment (ROI) process with metrics for executive courses. • Served as executive coach for internal change projects using a variety of six-sigma, project management, and performance management tools. One of these projects resulted in the award winning Acquisition Community Connection (http://acc.dau.mil), a Community of Practice• Initiated a variety of instructional strategies with approximately 1100 mid- to senior-level military officers and civilians, several of whom progressed to the General and Admiral Officer ranks. Strategies focused on transferring learning from classroom to on-the-job practices. Consistently rated one of most credible professors.
