• Serve as medical monitors to site and project team offering medical support, protocol interpretation, medical decision-making regarding concomitant medications and specific protocol medical issues, answering inclusion/exclusion questions, lab and other clinical data review and interpretation, and clarifying issues of AE/SAE reporting • Provide critical input to specialized reporting such as periodic safety updates, integrated analysis of safety (IAS), integrated analysis of efficacy (IAE), clinical study reports, expert reports and other support functions moving toward submission of a new drug application for marketing approval • Monitor safety reports (if requested, once a drug reaches the market) and give critical input to risk management and signal detection activities, designed to protect the health and welfare of consumers • Review and recommend possible changes to the protocol and other study documents • Provide therapeutic training to the site monitors and other project team personnel in cooperation with Scientific Affairs • Review data and assist in its interpretation • Contribute significantly to the final study report

Responsible for medical and clinical development oversight for Translational Oncology (Phase I / II Research program) in hematology and Oncology. Reviewed patients eligibility for participation in research studies. Led patient safety oversight meetings. Monitored patients for dose limiting toxicity and early safety signals in first in human and other early phase studies. Monitored clinical data for safety and efficacy endpoints. Supported medical monitoring activities for US Oncology CRO division in start up. Additional responsibilities included clinical development oversight of GI program in late phase indications. Coauthored research protocols, poster and publications.
