I have the privilege to be part of the Education Department at Global University, working under the supervision and guidance of doctors Ahmad Shatila, Nisrine Adada, Mona Hashah, and Mona El Chami. As a graduate assistant to Dr. Nisrine Adada in this Department, I participate in planning and delivery educational technology workshops for student teacher, and current teachers. I also assist in planning conferences that the department hosts. Until the company exited, I was part of a great team at Play.My.Way! in charge of teacher training, l educational content and database of the company’s Learning Managment System. I was responsible for representing the company in partnership talks with several well known companies including content providers. I also took part in designing and documenting application updates, and developing business plans for the company.During my time at Play.My.Way I have attended six training modules for enterpreneurs by the UK Lebanon Tech Hub accelerator program during covering topics like launching startups, talent management, finance, human resource management, pitching etc.... After successfully completing the accelerator program, the company participated in the Accelerator Academy Program at London, where the CEO of the company received and shared training on several other modules.Accomplishments:- Trained more than 250 teachers on the use of a learning Managment system.- Represented the company in several international conferences. - Developed 3 websites for the company and sister companies. - Designed several ads for the company. - Engaged in partnerships talks with several well known companies- Conducted numerous teacher training sessions and received a 4.9/5 trainger rating by attendees.- Developed a skill-based curriculum mapping for grades 1 through 9 in subjects (Math, Science and English Language Arts)- Participating in planning and designing a major update to the application.- Completed the business documentation of both a B2C and B2B application updates.- Contributed to completing several business planning assignment in two accelerator programs.- Designed a teacher, student, and administration portal for content authoring and reviewing.

This job was a privilege to me, I believe that teaching is one of the most important jobs anyone can work in. During my stay at ICS I developed my communication skills working with an exceptional team of teachers and under the guidance of great and professional mentors, veteran teachers, and managers.As a chemistry teacher for 10 classes across grades 7,8, and 9, I designed my lessons mainly as inquiry based lessons because I believe it is one of the most effective approaches to enhance student learning. I also favored problem based approaches whenever applicable, and of course had to use direct lecturing methods and traditional teaching approaches when needed. I helped design several books and workbooks aligned with the Lebanese general science learning goals for the intermediate cycle.In addition to regular teaching tasks, I was responsible for teacher technology training and support where I got the chance to help fellow teachers improve their technology skills. I was also responsible for planning numerous curricular and extra curricular activities for students, and had the privilege of launching the school science club and organizing a science fair for students, and mentoring the winning team of students with a robotics project (TeamEddie) which participated in the Lebanese National Math and Science Competition organized by the Lebanese university.I also participated in marking Lebanese official exams for grade 9 for the year 2015.

I worked as a Biology and Chemistry teacher for 6 classes across grades 7, 8 and 9. During my stay and Al Hidaya School, I had the chance to work with a superb team of teachers and staff whom I learned a great deal from. In addition to my teaching tasks, I participated in planning numerous curricular and extra curricular activities and was responsible for the technical support for the teachers of the intermediate cycle.
