I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry with my Doctor of Optometry Degree and have been practicing in Plano since 1996. I practice as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, and I am Board Certified by The American Board of Optometry. I was named as "America's Best Optometrists."I am owner and operator of Lakeside Vision and Optical, P.C. and provide Platinum quality eye care to Collin County and the surrounding areas. The doctors and highly skilled staff share my philosophy of giving the 5 Star treatment to all of our patients. Our mission is to WOW our patients with the highest quality care, latest technology, and in a warm, friendly environment. You will never feel rushed. I take the time to explain all examination findings, test results, and treatment options. Lakeside Vision and Optical provides a large selection of eye care services including comprehensive eye exams for eyeglasses and contact lenses, medical eye care for emergencies, glaucoma diagnosis and treatment, and cataract diagnosis and treatment. We offer designer eyewear and sunwear in our optical boutique as well as a wide array of contact lenses. I enjoy the challenge of those "hard to fit" contact lens patients. Many of my successful contact lens patients have been told by other optometrists they cannot wear contact lenses. We also provide laser vision correction management and co-manage refractive lens implants such as Technis Multifocal and Acrysof.I am an active community volunteer. I served as President of the Plano Metro Rotary Club, Assistant District Governor and am a Paul Harris Fellow. I have served on the Career Advisory Board for PISD and teach students from the Clinical Rotations Program, and I served on the board of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Plano. I was also selected by my peers to serve on the Texas Optometric Association Board of Directors for three years. In my free time, I enjoy weight training and fitness, yoga, hiking, biking, travel, and hanging out with friends or my Great Dane, Chloe.
