I was essentially in charge of dreaming big, and then trying to line up strategic partners to make it happen. Every once in a while, it worked! Had the opportunity to implement a state-of-the-art flight simulator lab at Air Force Academy High School in Chicago. Worked directly with a team at Mayo Clinic to implement a elementary school science program in CPS. Fell in love with the non-profit world and met so many incredible people.

This was my crash-course in business. I put every penny (and then some) that I had into helping get Jockbrokers off the ground. Guess what? Didn't work! It was still an incredibly valuable experience that expanded my knowledge of business far more than any business class I took.Sometimes failure is the best teacher.
