About Alexander Movshis

Dr. Movshis was born in Uzbekistan and moved to Texas when he was 14. Due to his empathetic nature, he has always wanted to become a doctor. He completed medical school training at the Texas A&M Medical School, receiving his Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree. He then moved to New York City, where he completed a residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at the world-renowned Mount Sinai Hospital. He is busy being a dad and raising two amazing kids when he is not working.‍Dr. Movshis is a member of The American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), The American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA), and The New York State Society of Anesthesiologists (NYSSA).
