• Manage, monitor and supervise a team of 30+ Community Health Workers (CHW), 2 Project Officers (PO) and office administrative assistants. Share challenges, approaches and successes with the whole team every fortnightly, where routine feedbacks are discussed. Work side-by-side with SFRO in the field.• Randomly visit on-job field staffs and also perform post-visit blinded visits to community household to ensure data integrity. routinely dispatch Data-forms through proper channel. Provide on-job training to staff whenever necessary regading sample collection techniques and bio-security issues. Strictly monitor sample transportation which includes maintaining activity logs relating to storage, temperature, time of collection, dispatch and lab-recieval. • Assist PRM by suggesting points for discussion regarding SOP. Also frequently discuss concepts regarding SOP among field staffs and conduct refresher training on SOP, protocol and guidelines. Participate in developing SOP and questionnaires. • Generate weekly, fortnightly and monthly field reports to reflect study activities. Development M&E tools and benchmarks. Share reports with External and Internal PIs. Discuss issues in weekly routine skype teleconferences. Prepare DSMB reports and share with PI. Have sound knowledge on IRB documentation and event reporting such as protocol deviations. Prepare adverse event reports and logs for submission to Harvard, icddr,b and Johns Hopkins IRB. • Possess good communication skills. Maintain optimum professional relationship with stake holders namely CHRF, SHIMANTIK and Johns Hopkins University and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (A teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School). • Possess sound knowledge in maternal and newborn anthropometry, consenting, biospecimen collection techniques, biosecurity, ethics, protocol deviation reporting, donor/ WHO reporting, quality control (checks), M&E tools and staff training.
