About Neil Duffy

Commercial Manager - Power at APA in Perth, Australia. I am self-motivated, love a good challenge, and very much enjoy working with teams of good people. I started off in the technical side of energy, completing a Mech. Eng. PhD in solid fuel combustion. However, I prefer to have a more holistic impact on the energy section, specifically power generation, so I moved to a business-orientated role at Alstom Power UK, before migrating to Australia in 2015 and fully moving into a commercial role. Since then, I have worked for Independent Power Producers, managing operational contracts for almost 30 power stations of various size/complexity across 4 jurisdictions in Australia, several joint ventures, and an LNG trucking business. I have also led and/or supported development opportunities, including head contracts, supplier contracts, and approvals to exec and board if required.I believe that I can be a valuable asset; I am personable, I learn quickly, and I am adaptable - I see myself as someone that people go to when they need something done!Skills: Contract management, contract negotiation, power generation, power stations, business development, project management, data analysis, budgeting/forecasting, change management, process improvement, energy, interpersonal skills.

Listed skills include Commissioning, Epc, Asme, Construction, and 57 others.
