Oversaw all operational aspects of a physician-hospital organization with 1.4K+ physicians and 4 hospitals across 3 counties serving 250K+ patients. Served as a strong advocate for internal leadership development and in this role it was a pleasure to coach and mentor 4 director-level direct reports while serving as a member of our executive team.Continually assessed the performance of clinical programs, care management initiatives, and quality improvement projects in order to influence positive change. Provided strategic direction for the execution of managed care contracts and clinical integration activities, specializing in the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA). Directed the daily operations of clinical informatics units, from the supervision of 4 director-level direct reports to the development of technological infrastructure. Drove continuous improvement by assessing divisional performance, implementing metrics, and creating new operating strategies. Administered staff training programs and monitored IT activities to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. Progressed through several administrative roles:-Became the Associate Medical Director of Clinical Informatics in 2007-Earned a promotion to Medical Director of Clinical Informatics before assuming the position of Chief Medical Information Officer in 2012Achievements:-Established the Division of Clinical Informatics & Health Information Management and built all policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.-Secured $35M+ in revenue via a Meaningful Use (MU) program utilizing the Cerner Millennium electronic health record (EHR) system. -Generated $14M+ in new revenue through the development and implementation of a clinical documentation improvement (CDI) program.-Chaired several key committees; founded the Clinical & Informatics Review Board, the Clinical & Technology Operations Council, and the Health Clinical Informatics Training & Education Team.-Optimized patient services through the design and deployment of www.my.baystatehealth.org, Baystate’s pioneering patient engagement platform.-Co-founded the Pioneer Valley Information Exchange, a community platform for patient health information which has been adopted by 3 health systems and hundreds of providers.

Advocated for the health and well-being of a diverse population by providing primary care to 2.5K+ patients, including HIV-infected and opioid-dependent patients.
