I am a global strategist passionate about infrastructure and the built environment. I am currently a Consultant at Bain & Company in Washington DC and I am interested in real estate, infrastructure, energy, and transportation. Previously, I worked at Delta Air Lines helping expand its business in the UK and Asia. Through Delta, I worked in Korea with Delta's Korean Air Joint Venture. Prior to Delta, I studied Global Affairs at Tsinghua University through the Schwarzman Scholars program. My interests in international relations, national security, and economic development were major reasons I wanted to study in China. Before living in China, I spent a year and a half working in Brazil at Catalytic Communities, an urban planning nonprofit aimed at improving the lives of those living in Brazil's informal communities. During this time, I participated in housing policy research and helped the organization monitor international news coverage prior to the 2016 Olympics. I also interned at the United Nations HABITAT Program in the Urban Law Unit. I graduated in 2015 from Duke University with a degree in Public Policy and Economics and in 2018 from Tsinghua University with a degree in Global Affairs. I am from Fairfax, Virginia and currently live in D.C. Please feel free to contact me at DavidRobrtsn1231@gmail.comFind out more about the Schwarzman Scholars Program here: www.schwarzmanscholars.org
