During my career in Emerson, I worked alongside all the engineers of the North American Engineering iCenter and I was in charge of: - Carrying out supplier and market researches, RFX sourcing (RFQ, RFP, RFI), tenders and benchmarking for the different Emerson projects needs.- Preparing price and risk analysis.- Developing new relationships with innovative suppliers and invite them to become part of Emerson’s Suppliers database.- Negotiating with suppliers to obtain more favorable terms and conditions for Emerson. - Creating purchase contracts with the suppliers regarding price, delivery dates, quality standards and other key terms.- Placing purchase orders, daily follow up and evaluation of the final client satisfaction.- Solving the discrepancies between the good/services received and the invoices issued.- Analyzing the spend data to find savings and create price agreements with the suppliers.- Communicating with the suppliers about any issue that arise in the sourcing process to find a quick and effective solution.- Supporting the monthly audit process to assure the compliance of the quality KPIs of the procurement department.Additionally, - I received a company recognition for obtaining the highest rating (99.6%) in the Engineering Center Satisfaction Survey. - I received the Irazú Award for the implementation of the KPIs Dashboard of the Procurement Department. - I was an active member of the Hope Wellness and LGBTQ+ Allies Resource Group.

During my career in this organization, I worked in the health branch, specifically The Health Services Network (INS-RSS) that provides services to patients covered by the INS policy regimes. Some of my responsibilities during my career in this organization were:- Leadership of the strategic planning and sourcing process. - Defining the strategic plan (using SWOT analysis and the participation of multidisciplinary teams)- Ensuring the alignment of the strategy at the tactical and operational levels of the organization. - Management and analysis of data (macroeconomic indicators, trends, competitors and markets) for strategic decisions making of the organization. - Evaluating of the progress of the portfolio of strategic projects and its budgetary control.- Participating in the biannual and annual strategy review. - Leadership of the Business Intelligence Department (1 year).- Supporting the CEO and Superior Administration in the execution of any analysis requested by the Board Directors.- Conducting improvement projects related to quality, production and financial saving.- Defining and implementing the management model of the Health Services Network. - Analyzing the organization’s strategic KPIs to assess performance and progress in meeting the strategic objectives. - Auditing and evaluating processes for the implementation of the ISO 9001 quality standards.- Supporting the Finance and Procurement Department in the execution of the budget and Annual Purchasing Plan. - Training all the business units in definition and deployment of the strategy.
