Ios: Skully / Product Ops: Senior Ios Developer
I worked alongside 2 other developers, taking early POC work and turning it into an actual product. I had two main areas of responsibilities. First, I was involved with handling all the contact management, social sharing, camera integration, photo caching, custom album, collection viewing, deleting, and sharing. Secondly, I was involved with the map functionality, incorporating Skobbler maps, with a custom overlay interface, turn-by-turn directions, communicating the map data not only visually, but also via audio and BLE to the helmet.Favorite quote: “You seem to be really really good at digging into 3rd party frameworks and making shit work….”, April 28, 2015 via MB.http://www.skully.com/http://productops.com/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFF99F3BHsI

I was responsible for the iOS product, and managed my team spanning from India, Boston, and California. We successfully delivered our milestones until AT&T put things on hold as they were working out the intricacies of dealing with a world-wide non-profit organization.http://www.wfp.org/http://productops.com/https://www.linkedin.com/company/united-nations/
Ios: Ca Technologies: Senior Ios Architect / Developer
After two successful concept apps shown at CA World 2013, I was brought back to do another for CA World 2014, debuting in November in Las Vegas. This app was among the minimal set of requirements I’ve seen. I hunted down the data, created the app how I thought best it should be, and finished it a few weeks earlier than planned, which allowed me to enhance it with some nice customizations. The project easily came in on time and with added functionality and time for formal documentation. This app was a sales and marketing tool to be distributed to all the customer facing staff to help sell other services, which I had integrated and was demonstrable via a demo environment. I set it up so that new services could be easily added. The app pulled the data that the existing web site used, so was also a companion app for the web site.http://www.ca.com/us/https://www.linkedin.com/company/ca-technologies/

Architect / Lead Ios Developer
As the lead iOS developer, I am responsible for all aspects of our iOS mobile product. Upon hire, I was asked to evaluate the current 2-3 year troubled iOS project. After review, and questioning from the CTO downward, I kept 1% of the existing code (one keychain class). After I re-architected and rewrote the app in iOS 6 / Objective C, I had it approved and in the app store within 4 months. The code reduced in complexity and size, going from ~2m loc to ~40k loc. Updates and enhancements has taken the app from iOS6 through iOS 7, iOS 8, and now iOS 9. The app underwent another full rewrite during iOS 8, when we converted to C# / Xamarin for all mobile platforms, Android, Windows, and iOS. I performed this rewrite for iOS, which interacts with a vehicle communication layer on the hardware side (using WiFi or BLE), and interacts with the hybrid web side via various forms of Java Scripting bridging. I also did the 64-bit upgrade for iOS 8 and wrote authorization and validation REST communication layer, and added camera and barcode support for the scanning of VINs.Some of the more complex areas are the handling of the proper foreground / background queues and threads, the differences between UIWebView and WKWebView, and the changing support for JS bridging between iOS 6-9. I added a live debugging panel which provides many useful items when trying to determine the root cause of a system with many moving parts. Some such items in this area are direct access to existing user preferences, keychain handling, and logging overrides, storage, compression, and emailing. To date, I've had 10 app store submissions with 0 rejections. The current composition of the app is C#, HTML 5, Angular, Bootstrap, Typescript, with socket communications to the hardware via WiFi or BLE.ALLDATA is a subsidiary of AutoZone, a multi-billion dollar company.App: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/alldata-mobile/id697105390?mt=8.http://www.alldata.com/alldata-mobile3
