I have worked in finance since 2010 and hugely value the variety of roles I have held during that time. I believe the experience in these different areas (Accounting, Mergers & Acquisitions and Audit) give me a rounded and forward looking view of the industry.I am currently Managing Director of Bernard Rogers & Co, a firm of Chartered Accountants based in Warwickshire. We work with some fantastic SME clients and aspire to make their lives simpler by looking after all of their accounting needs.I have previously worked in Corporate Finance, specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions in the Technology and Telecoms sector. This experience helped instil in me the importance of looking forward and seeing what challenges and opportunities lie ahead. Prior to my time in Corporate Finance, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in their insurance audit team, working on large FTSE listed clients and smaller Lloyds of London insurance syndicates.What really motivates me is getting to know a client and their business, helping them to better understand their finances and grow. Accountants should be seen as a trusted advisor to their clients and it’s a relationship I feel fortunate in enjoying with a large number of our clients.At Bernard Rogers & Co, we pride ourselves on the high level of service we provide to clients and the inclusive and supportive way we interact with our team.
