As a Professor of Management, Dr. O works on Leadership, Human Resources, Compensation, Business Ethics, and related subjects (https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0433-8132). His work has been published in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. He serves on editorial boards, as an advisor to SHRM's Clarion student chapter, and other department-, college-, university-level, and professional committees.He is a Senior Editor for Emerald's "Advanced Series in Management" and former Editor-in-Chief for the "Business Journal of Hispanic Research." His latest books are about Technology, Diversity, Social Media, and HR Management. His research deals with Management, Information Technologies, Human Resources, Gender, Hispanic organizations, Business Ethics, Christian/Catholic Social Thought, and Latin America.From 2020-21 he served as CIHRS Associate Director and Teaching Professor at PennState U. In 2014, Dr. O was elected Program Chair-Elect, a 5-year leadership position, to the Academy of Management's (AOM) Management Education and Development (MED) division. He speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently as well as some Italian, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Irish, and Polish. He loves traveling and playing string instruments; he holds a 1st-dan martial arts black belt.
