Over 22 years of executive leadership experience in the Human Services field addressing unique needs and obstacles faced by vulnerable youth, adults and families in North and South Carolinas, Northern Virginia and DC Metropolitan Area. Able to assess and adjust systematic policies, practices, and barriers that contribute to gaps in services and outcomes for youth, adults, and families. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in facilitating dialogue and partnerships (public and private sectors) with service providers. Practical application experience that is family-oriented, person centered, and evidenced-based. Strong willed individual with a record of success and dependable leadership.

Director of Community Services- Responsible for the overall development, planning and implementation of a full range of community services programs for residents of all programs. Work in tandem with various social service agencies; housing and employment entities; agency program directors, volunteer and residential coordinators, and case managers to plan and direct needed services for residents. Serve on various inter-agency committees that oversee the implementation of services rendered to the unstably housed. Currently supervise the Housing Specialists, Community Case Managers, Employment Specialist, Employment Liaison, and the Education Specialist. Serve as a part of the Management and Leadership team of NHHI. Interact positively with New Hope Housing personnel, Fairfax County/ Arlington County/Alexandria City staff members from col- lateral agencies, the general public, and all volunteers. Director of Family Programs- Oversees all day to day operations of housing programs for homeless families in Fairfax County. Supervise staff who pro-vides case management, children’s services, and facility assistance to at least 40 homeless families at any one time. Hire, develop staff, prioritize multiple tasks, and represent the agency and our residents well. Ensures grants, reports and other required documentation are completed accurately and timely. Examples include monthly and quarterly quality data reports. Maintains and updates policy and procedures manuals and resident handbooks to ensure compliance with agency philosophy and funding requirements. Audits files through HMIS on a regular basis, to critic form and documentation compliance. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management services as needed. Work closely with Director of Operations and landlords to ensure facilities are operated safely and efficiently and meet habitability standards and other grant and contract requirements.

Oversaw the day to day operations for The Virginia Serious And Violent Offender Reentry Program.
