There are many things that I do not know and instinctively I try and surround myself with people that I can learn from. I am open to suggestion from my experts and have the drive and determination to see things through. Budgeting, forecasting, biz planning and valuation calculations are many of my daily tasks trying to get my start up off the ground. here is still a lot that needs to be figured out before you will be able to get your pizza delivered by drone.Only 32% of more than 1,200 consumers surveyed by the Postal Service said they believe drone deliveries will be safe. Autonomous flight from a to b is relatively simple to achieve using GPS. Sense and avoid (SAA) technology has come a long way since inception but is constrained by sensor acuity and available power. Fleet operators simply don’t have enough data at a landing site to do their job safely and effectively. Proposed methods of delivery are the equivalent of landing a bi-plane with manual controls vs. a modern instrumented aircraft, and environmental data is collected when it may be too late to react or from a weather station that may be 10 miles away.We are building a sensor array with a machine learning algorithm that can gather, analyze and communicate actionable real time data at a landing site.We can detect hazards including living things that may be present during final descent and issue real time commands to an autonomous drone. We augment a drones SAA from the ground up and can dramatically reduce the potential for personal injury and property damage between the treetops and ground. Our persistent data collection and analysis ensures the most accurate assessment of hazards that may be present during the most difficult part of delivery, the landing. Our goal is to make life easier for companies that operate delivery drones while making the process safe and available to everyone.
