In addition to running the floor and depositing the cash at the end of the night, I was responsible for creating the weekly schedules and implementing barista training plans. I was also the proxy store manager while my manager took time off.

Won the 2020 year-end coffee sales competition as well as the 2021 Q4 Partner of the Quarter. I was also a barista trainer.

I worked as a copywriter and translator in conjunction with the company Waysun to help translate multiple MassDiGI games to Chinese and publish them on their console.

I managing a four person team working on "Carbon Dating," a choice-based mobile game following a high school student who starts an environmental activism club at school. I was also the lead writer and composer for the project. We pushed the feature-complete game to stores in seven weeks, and oversaw biweekly content updates.

Greater Boston Area

After working on "Protest Sim" for a few months as the lead writer, I was made the producer for the game as well. As the producer, my duties included managing my team, outlining development goals and release strategies, and organizing meetings with our close development partner, a sociology professor from Assumption College. This experience especially helped me develop my leadership skills, and how to best go about working directly with an outside party. I developed the choice-based narrative systems at play and helped my writing team maintain a consistent level of thematic cohesion throughout the course of the game.

I was the lead writer for the serious game "Protest Sim." The choice-based game follows a community member of a fictional town plagued by police shootings and brutality incidents. In order to combat this civil unrest, the player forms their own social movement organization. My duties included conducting and documenting research on the real life social issues "Protest Sim" is predicated upon, writing the content for the game, as well as mapping out the multiple decisions the player makes throughout the game. During my work on this game, I learned a lot about proper research and documentation techniques, as well as how to manage scope.

While most of my day-to-day work meeting prospective students and giving campus tours, being a student ambassador has given me to opportunity to develop my public speaking skills by talking to big crowds at admissions events. I spoke at events with the president of my college and the deans of my program, and made connections with families across the world.
