(Interwise – post AT&T acquisition) Held multiple positions: developer, code architect, hands-on team lead and hands-on group lead across multiple projects and initiatives.Built, managed, led and groomed multiple teams from ground up with multiple disciplines (Developers, Testers, Architects, Data Scientists, Scrum Masters, Project Managers, DevOps). Once acquired by AT&T - Full responsibility over the integration of our product (Web Conferencing) with AT&T legacy conferencing system. Initially, integrating the control leveraging real-time web services (WCF). Design, implementation, integration, testing and deployment. Highly available, highly efficient, optimized multi-threading solution serving 24x7 with five nines internal and external customers. The next step was to add integration of media (voice/video) between the platforms and additional platforms such as Telepresence. At this point, I started to build a team. Hire developers and testers. Design and architect the media gateway. That involved working with different protocols such as SIP / RTP over TCP / UDP. Working with codecs. Optimize servers’ performances. Building supported tools to simulate real scenarios and testing it using CI tools. Designed pure web client (HTML / JavaScript) using Web Sockets to gain real time capabilities and additional Web Services to support those capabilities. The next chapter in my career was to build a new Big Data group to support the Big Data organization in the US. Quickly it was growing to over 70 resources (directly/in-directly), supporting multiple initiatives. The biggest one was working on consumer insight platform (CIP). Working on multiple features. Real Time Location capabilities for advertising needs. It was a brand-new field, Storm, Kafka, Scala, Hadoop were introduced.
