Dr. Pat Little, a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry, has been actively involved in dentistry for over 35 years. He started two general dental practices “from scratch” and grew both into successful practices over a 14-year period. Due to a cervical vertebrae disability, Dr. Little left private practice in 2008. Wanting to remain active in dentistry, he explored non-clinical options to further his service to the profession. Dr. Little subsequently enrolled at Kennesaw State University, where he concentrated on accounting and general business courses. After completing his college curriculum, he decided to focus his attention on helping dentists manage business risks related to fraud and embezzlement. He became a Certified Fraud Examiner and joined Prosperident, where he conducts embezzlement examinations on behalf of dentists.An avid continuing education lecturer, Dr. Little has presented at numerous national dental meetings along with hundreds of presentations at regional, state, district, and local study clubs. His presentations include embezzlement mitigation, privacy and data security, and dental business management.Originally from Georgia, Dr. Little and his family recently moved to Wesley Chapel, Florida, where he spends his free time avidly maintaining his high golf handicap!
