For 30+ years, Dr. Craig has pursued his family's heritage in energy sector. Craig's Great Uncle Roy Turner was the founder of Turner Oil Company. Turner was elected Governor of Oklahoma - best known for building the Turner Turnpike between Oklahoma City and Tulsa. Craig and his companies acquired and sold the north half of the one-billion barrel Umiat Oil Field; an interest in the Badami Oil Field (through ownership in Savant Alaska, LLC); and the original leases in Project Peregrine in NPR-A.Having grown up in farming communities in rural Nebraska, Dr. Craig understands the importance of sustainability and has emphasized ESG throughout his career. With an eye toward the future of the world's energy needs, Dr. Craig established GeoAlaska, LLC to identify, explore, and produce Alaska's geothermal resources with the intention of moving Alaska into the forefront of the world's sustainable energy future. Those efforts include geothermal rights acquired on Mt. Spurr and Augustine Island - a traditional hydrothermal prospect as well as a shallow magma/partial melt R&D opportunity.Craig served as Treasurer of the American Psychological Association (2008-2010) - a 100M+ USD revenue corporation. Craig co-founded Alaska's largest outpatient mental health clinic in the 1990s. For the past 30+ years, Craig has been board-certified in clinical neuropsychology. He is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Science, University of Washington School of Medicine (WWAMI Program).
