The Dean of Professional Studies, Library and Workforce Education (PSLWE) works under administrative direction of the Vice President of Learning. The PSLWE division is currently comprised of the departments Allied Health Sciences, the College Library, and Workforce Education.

First Year Experiences coordinator will provide vision, strategic direction, and accountability for developing programs and services that support academic transition and success for first year students through comprehensive FYE programs. The coordinator will work collaboratively across areas/departments within the campus and the greater North Idaho.

This faculty position provides instruction for the Cardinal Learning Commons (CLC), serves as an advisor to students and contributes to the ability of the CLC to increase students’ college and career readiness. The role employs current instructional practices to help the CLC deliver research-based curriculum and student support services to prepare students.
