Oversee and manage the Carson-Newman University MBA program. I advise as many as 150 graduate students, helping them to navigate the program to get the best outcomes for their specific situation. In addition, my responsibilities include:• Lead the strategic development of specializations and course development to maintain relevance to industry needs.• Collaboratively work alongside eight full-time and up to 17 adjunct faculty members to deliver 63-72 courses annually in both on-ground and on-line delivery modes.• I teach 8-9 MBA and 4 undergraduate courses each academic year. I regularly experiment with course changes to improve student engagement or student performance.These results are shared with faculty and on occasion evaluated by the faculty for efficacy and then integrated with • Lead the development of 7 program specializations with another under development. When a need is identified, I lead curriculum development and ensure academic standards are met.• Hire, manage, and assess adjunct faculty. • Conduct annual program assessments using program metrics of success. Monitor program efficacy using metrics for continuous improvement and model top-tier teaching practices.• Actively serve on the Graduate Programs Standards Committee. Chaired the committee for 2019-2022 and sit on the Intercollegiate Athletic Council.• Seek out other departments to develop other MBA specializations or new programs using MBA courses combined with new courses related to that department.

With other members of the senior management team, we submitted the plans and documents needed to satisfy the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia to obtain an operating license. SCHEV granted the license in March of 2019. I also developed the information infrastructure requirements for the college. I developed the implementation plans to accommodate a university of 3000 students and 350 faculty and staff.

Information Systems Manager -Designed, developed and implemented an internet customer order entry and order fulfillment system. This system was later expanded to include all quality related information and customer related documents. -Implemented a new corporate network, including an email system, document storage system, internal and external websites, security and training of personnel.Quality Manager -Planned, implemented and trained employees to the ISO9000 system. -Implemented and maintained an ISO9000 paperless document system .

Established and implemented plans to achieve ISO9001. Conducted training of management and hourly employees, to the established standards. Conducted internal quality audits. Led the Administration Team in ISO9001 implementation.Developed a new pumpable polyester grouting system for use in underground mining (patent awarded). Supervised R&D laboratory activities. Improved product formulation to reduce costs $800,000 per year.
