My name is Dr. Pieter van Zyl, and I've dedicated my career to the field of Computer Science, with a specialization in Information Security. It's been quite a journey since obtaining my MSc (cum laude) and PhD degrees. Throughout my professional life, I've had the privilege of holding various executive roles, from strategic planning to business architecture and process management.One of the most fulfilling experiences has been co-founding Demix alongside my wife, Joan. Together, we've nurtured Demix into an industry leader, renowned for delivering global Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) services. My passion for excellence led me to become a certified high-maturity CMMI Lead Appraiser and Instructor, along with certifications in all CMMI add-on domains, including Development, Services, Supplier Management, Security, Safety, People, and Data. In addition, I am also a certified Medical Device Discovery Appraisal Program (MDDAP) Lead Appraiser Currently, I serve as the managing director of Demix, where I continue to lead our team toward greater heights of success. Additionally, I've embarked on a new venture as the managing director of SirveZone, a startup company where I'm excited to apply my expertise and vision to drive innovation and growth in the industry.
