Founded along with his partners in 2008, PING Capital is an investment management firm focused on investing in undervalued macro asset classes. Driven by experienced research teams based in Shanghai and New York, and through incremental risk taking, the Firm identifies long term investment themes and deploys capital in undervalued asset classes, particularly in Latin America, greater China, and other emerging markets in Asia and Eastern Europe. Prior to SAC, Dr. Ping Jiang worked at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. from 1995-2004. He joined as an analyst in mortgage and fixed income research, worked as market maker in Latin America FX Options, became head of Latin America Local Market Trading, head of FX Proprietary Trading, and head of Liquid Market Proprietary Trading. Dr. Jiang established Lehman as the dominant firm in Latin America derivatives market.
