Dr. Prashant Kumar received his Ph. D. and M. Tech. degree from National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur (INDIA). He is currently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering, Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. Previously he has worked with Department of Systemics, School of Computer Science at University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun (INDIA) and Department of Computer Science & Engineering, National Institute of Technology Hamirpur. His research interest includes Opportunistic and Delay Tolerant Networks, Internet-of-Things, Wireless and Adhoc Networks, Security in Wireless Networks. He has published more than 40 research papers in Journals and Conferences of International repute. He has been in Examination panel of Various Universities at different level (PhD, PG & UG). He has been actively involved in editorial and reviewers board in various International Journal and Conferences. He is in the reviewer board of some most prestigious Journal such as IEEE Transaction on Green Computing, Wiley International Journal of Communication Systems, International Journal of Web Services Research etc. Apart from these he has been in reviewer board of the book Energy Efficient Underwater Wireless Communications and Networking, CRC Book for Deep Learning for IoT Infrastructure, International Conference on Machine Intelligence and Data Science Applications (MIDAS 2020), Reviewer of the 3rd International Conference on Big Data and Computational Intelligence (ICBDCI- 2020). He has also served as Editor of the book Application of Deep Learning Methods in Healthcare and Medical Science. Currently he is guiding 4 PhD students. He is member of IEEE, International Association of Engineers and Internet Society.
