Dr Pratibha Kohli, Principal, Maharaja Agrasen Model School, CD Block, Pitampura, Delhi has an experience of over 33 years in the field of education. She has taken up teaching positions and administrative positions in reputed schools in India & the Sultanate of Oman. She is the recipient of CBSE Teachers Award 2018-19 (National Level) and the recipient of State Teacher Award -2015 conferred by the Department of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi. She successfully implemented the Project "Inculcation of Environmental Awareness and Environmental Ethics among students to conserve the environment through low cost and innovative projects and activities" under the National Award for Innovative Practices and Experiments in Education for Schools and Teacher Education Institutions (2018-19) of Department of Teacher Education, NCERT. She is a Mentor of Change for ATAL Tinkering Lab, AIM, Niti Aayog. She is a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (2016 to 2021-22), MIE Trainer & Skype Master Teacher. She is awarded the status of Adobe Creative Educator & Adobe Creative Ambassador. She has been recognised by the British Council for leading the integration of international learning at Maharaja Agrasen Model School, as the school has been conferred the International School Award (2015-18 & 2018-21). She has been honoured by Lions Club, Rotary Club and Cyberlearning for her outstanding leadership in the field of education. She was honoured with the ‘Educationist of the Year Award’ in the first Silverzone educational excellence award 2012 and again honoured with 'Educationist of the Year' award in 2018. She is the Resource Person for Capacity Building Programme for CBSE for Science, Life Skills, Gender Sensitization, Environmental Education. She has conducted numerous workshops on responsible parenting, mentoring senior secondary students and teacher training workshops on the pedagogy of teaching-learning of science, best practices in the teaching of science. She is very passionate about UN SDG and has motivated students and staff to take up issues related to SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 5 and SDG13. She strongly believes in issues related to the environment and feels that everyone deserves a “Clean and Green environment”.
