An overall experience of over 45 years in Industry (Production, Q A & Laboratory testing & Management), Project Development as a consultant to a Developing Country, Standardization and Quality control, Products Quality Certification under BIS Certification Marking Scheme (ISI Marking), and assessment of QMS as per ISO 9001, EMS as per ISO 14001, BS OHSAS 18001 & HACCP as Auditor / Lead Auditor as per following details:i) Industrial Experience: I have experience of nearly 4 ½ years in the Production supervision, Quality Assurance and testing of products for quality control in a Food Processing Industry during 1966-1970.ii) Standardization & Quality Control: Nearly 15 years experience in formulation of Indian and International Standards as Member Secretary to various Technical Committees of BIS & ISO in the Field of chemicals and allied industries & Environmental Management & Industrial safety and finally as Director& Head, Chemical Division Council of the Bureau of Indian Standard, New Delhi. iii) Presently I have been nominated as a Member of BIS Panel for Coordination with ISO/TC 207/SC 1 Environmental Management System in my personal capacity by the Bureau of Indian Standards, New Delhi . In this capacity I would like to contribute in development of standards on Carbon and water Foot Prints through BIS Committee, CHD 34 for development of standards under its scope of work.
