Guest EditorCurrent Organic Chemistry Sep 2019 - Nov 2020.Organic transformation using heterogeneous catalystsAims & Scope:Catalysis is such an enormous field, that it can encompass almost everything from the study of fundamental physical properties to genetically engineering chemical-producing microorganisms. Thus, catalysis is the area of chemistry which has tremendous impact on the society. It is fundamental to numerous endeavours such as, making consumer products we use every day, producing the drugs that keep the population healthy, helping agriculture feed the planet, breaking down environmental pollutants in air and water, generating, storing and converting energy. The production of chemicals through catalytic processes accounts for approximately 25% of the industrial energy. In the literature, there are so many articles published in the field of catalysis. Hence, this issue represent the articles which will contributed in the field of organic transformation using heterogeneous catalysts. The subtopics to be covered within this issue are listed below:• Heterogeneous catalysis: application in organic synthesis • Metal or Metal oxide supported catalyst : application in organic transformation • Biomass conversion• CO2 fixation using solid based catalysts • Catalytic mechanism and kinetics studies
