Investigation, risk assessment and remediation of contaminated land, environmental impact assessment and demolition management. Very wide range of projects in UK, Europe, Russia and the Middle East, for an array of public and private clients and end uses. This included being an Expert Witness as well as several Part IIA cases.Developed an award winning risk assessment tool for ground gases and was main author for an NHBC guidance document as well as being on the steering group for a CIRIA document on the subject. Developed training courses for ground gases and other environmental topics for NHBC and developers.

Investigation, risk assessment and remedial options appraisal of contaminated land for a variety of public and private clients. I also became experienced with demolition processes, including the contracts and also the H&S issues, including being Clients Agent and Principal Contractor under CDM Regulations. I oversaw a portfolio of over 25 sites dealing with all H&E and Environmental issues for the local RDA.

Research into novel wastewater treatments, most notably Catalytic Wet Air Oxidation, arising from on-shore and off-shore pipelines from oil rigs and and from remediation processes from gasworks sites.
