Upon graduating from The University of Melbourne Dental Program in 2011, Dr Ricky Patel moved back to Sydney, and worked in private practice focusing primarily on developing and applying advanced techniques in dental restorative work and comprehensive patient care. In 2012, Ricky moved to Port Macquarie to join the team at Sundial Dental, a large family dental clinic that provided general and cosmetic treatments such as single visit crowns, root canals, gum treatments, and minor oral surgery including wisdom teeth extractions. Currently practicing at Sydney, Ricky is passionate about holistic patient care and is committed to assisting patients realise long term goals regarding their dental wellbeing. He also feels that the dental experience should be as pain-free and enjoyable as possible for patients. As such, he takes great strides to make each and every patient feel comfortable once the enter the clinic with his caring and empathetic approach.Ricky likes to keep up to date with all of the recent advancements in dentistry, and continues to attend international conferences and courses. With a keen interest in dento-facial aesthetics, Ricky implements the use of digitally designed ceramic restorations (CEREC), implants, clear aligners, facial injectables and tooth whitening achieve the best results for his patients. Outside of dentistry, Ricky enjoys staying active through playing sports such as soccer and rock climbing, as well as discovering new recipes to bake at home.
