About Roshan Parikh, Dds Mba

Structurally, I am a clinician (DDS) first with a Masters in Business, with 16+ years of multi-site healthcare experience.  I grew up in a middle-class household with two immigrant parents that truly loved me and put mine and my brothers lives and futures before their own.  From that, I learned that I never wanted to be the smartest person in the room, but I could outhustle and outwork anybody. I founded a Chicago-HQd DSO, that has over 100 clinicians and was a private-equity backed multisite dental support organization. We ran fast and hard for 10+ years.  In that time, I learned valuable lessons in both growth and creating efficiencies, while always putting the patient experience and clinical quality first. Perhaps the most valuable skill I learned was the ability to fluently speak the language of translating private-equity KPIs to primary and specialty clinicians so that they could understand "why" it mattered, as well as how it helps create both professional and enterprise value. In my experience, I truly have see that this is a unique language that very few clinicians speak fluently.  I've also helped lead the building of a new healthcare platform from the group up via de novos, for a Fortune 1 sized retailer in Walmart.  Working with a world-class team and helping lead strategy, development, implementation, and measurement of success and adoption of specialty healthcare for Walmart Health. Serving as an integral piece of the executive team gave me direct insight into what ideation to execution looks like and meant for a Fortune 1 retailer. After leaving Walmart , the last 3 years of my career have been spent helping impart, educate, and implement the knowledge, experience, and mistakes/lessons learned I've made to all of the constituents of the retail healthcare landscape.  This includes proudly serving as a trusted advisor to multiple private-equity funds, healthcare venture capital firms, DSOs, other multi-site healthcare organizations (dental, orthopedics, dermatology, med spa, and home health), as well as multiple SaaS platforms. I'm currently the Chief Growth Officer for VIVA Pediatric Healthcare, a pediatric-only Home Health Care PDN and Therapy organization based in Dallas, Texas. This unique journey and set of experiences help make me able to clearly discern sound from noise, which I believe in today's world of infinite information and strong need for predictable value creation, helps make me a retail healthcare rockstar.
