I am a flyfisher, Husker fan, singer & Founder/CEO of an innovative hearing aid & audiology clinic in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina. I also recently published a book about hearing loss and healthcare, called The Alzheimer's/Hearing Aid Paradox: In Search of Sanity, which is available on my website (hearingsanity.net).I have been an entrepreneur in the healthcare industry ever since receiving my doctorate at a medical school and conducting cancer research at Ohio State University. I have a natural inclination towards marketing & business development.Experience includes development of companies & markets in virtually every sector of the healthcare industry. I enjoy client acquisition, formation of strategic partnerships, branding, marketing and promotion. I started up businesses for Fortune 50 SmithKline in Chicago (now Quest), and venture capitalists in San Diego. I founded the Environmental Business Journal, was on the Board of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). I led the turn around of a Contract Research Organization (CRO) in Research Triangle Park.
