So when I was about to start my professional career, I knew that there's 3 professional areas that I will absolutely, positively, never touch with a long stick: - Insurance (BOOOORING!)- Banking (also boring and just not "my thing")- ANYTHING medical/health related. NO chance. So I started several companies in several industries, had some brief stints in Big4 strategy consulting / performance improvement, and in the "Fortune 500 world", only to finally find my ultimate passion in....... healthcare.(That's also the reason why you wouldn't want me to hire you as your professional career consultant, ha.)Specifically - healthcare with a focus on PREVENTION. And that's exactly what I focused on in the past few years.See, the thing is - a lot of what we do in healthcare, around the globe, makes ZERO sense. Our healthcare systems are broken.They're not even health-care systems - they're sick-care systems. We have created incentives to wait until people get chronic diseases that could be prevented almost "for free", and then spend billions putting people on medications for the rest of their lives. It's nonsense.It's unsustainable. It's unethical. And as a result, we're already seeing two-tier or "two-class" healthcare systems around the globe. Got the money for private healtchare? Good for you! You don't? Screw you, get in line and hope that you find some help, somewhere. We need to change this. So my mission is to make increased human healthspan and performance accessible for everyone - using state-of-the-art technology and the latest scientific and medical breakthroughs.
