I have more than 20 years experience as a career services and human resources practitioner. I am 100% dedicated to assisting individuals with development.I am currently the Director of Career Services at Georgia Gwinnett College. I lead a team of professionals and strategically plan career development programs and activities for the college. Formerly, I worked as the Associate Director of Career Services at Clayton State University. I had the pleasure of managing the university internship program, providing career coaching, and delivering career development services to students. I have also worked as a Career Counselor for Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University where I was responsible for delivering career development services and programming to business students. I co-instructed a Professional Development Lab and supervised the Career Ambassador Program and Robinson Women in Business. My dissertation research was on Career Values. Her research was titled "Examining the Impact of Race, Gender, Household Status, and Generation on the Career Values of College Students," which I successfully defended in September of 2013. My goals are to: Continue to research on career values and student success and to mentor young women who struggle with self-esteem and positive image.
