I am a Computer Science graduate with a diverse career background in banking, finance and tech start-up. My professional journey began as a Loan Analyst (consumer & commercial), where I identified significant barriers to financial access and loan structures that impacted individuals with tight budgets. This early experience sparked my interest in finding innovative solutions to improve financial inclusion.Driven to make a difference, I joined the Cradle Fund Programme, administered by the Ministry of Finance Malaysia, in 2016. The guidance and support I received there were instrumental in shaping my entrepreneurial journey. With this foundation, I pivoted from a PropTech solution to establishing a business with a pioneering Rent-to-Own (RTO) model. This initiative empowered many underserved individuals to achieve homeownership, further deepening my commitment to financial inclusion.Building on this success and driven by my continuous pursuit of personal and professional growth, I pursued a Doctorate in Business Administration. This advanced education has greatly enhanced my business acumen and strategic foresight, equipping me to tackle complex challenges and drive innovation in my ventures.Looking ahead, I am passionate about leveraging fintech to tackle the challenges faced by underserved groups. Building on my experiences in banking and RTO, I aim to develop fintech solutions that enhance financial access and inclusion.Apart from my professional pursuits, I cherish spending time with my family. As a father of two, I value the concept of "togetherness" and strive to foster a supportive and understanding family environment.
