I am a board certified Osteopathic Pediatrician with 25 years experience in both office and hospital Pediatrics. Several years ago, after awakening to a loveless marriage and getting sick myself I realized "the doctor could not heal herself". I also became increasingly aware of negative side effects and the toxic ingredients in the medications I was prescribed and was prescribing to my patients. After a mom of a 6 month old baby in the hospital requested a sleep medication for the side effect of irritability from the other medication I had prescribed her child and hundreds of ADHD patients in my office as well, I knew I was not honoring my Hippocratic oath: "to do no harm". I became increasingly aware of how my emotions and my patients emotions were connected to illnesses and started using prayers, affirmations, plant based medicines and organic products, to help myself and my patients come out of many dark clouds of negative thoughts, worries and illnesses. I became obsessed with long walks on the beach, prayer, personal development books, podcasts, empowerment coaches, conferences and anything that would help me see the light at the end of the tunnel for myself and my patients health and wellness needs.
