As a public school educator for over 22 years, Dr. Ruth currently serves the students, educators, and families of school districts nationwide as the Director of School Support at #CharacterStrong. Prior to taking on this role, she served the students and staff of Gwinnett County Public Schools as the Director of Social Emotional Learning. Dr. Ruth is an experienced educator, who has a diverse background working in rural, urban, secondary, and post-secondary school settings. In addition, she has experience working in PK-12 public schools with leadership responsibilities and supervisory experience at the elementary, secondary, and collegiate levels as well as in the non-profit sector.At the collegiate level, she has developed and implemented face-to-face courses and distance learning courses for English Composition as well as School-Community Relations & Politics. Having enjoyed a reputation as an effective educator and leader, Dr. Ruth has a natural talent for creating productive and innovative programs, instructional resources and staff development sessions.
