Primary responsibilities include research, teaching and service in the areas of infectious diseases and infection control. Clinical practice included directing the Vaccine and International Travel Clinic and adult immunization research at the University of Louisville. I was responsible for epidemiologic research conducted in Center of Excellence for Research in Infectious Diseases (CERID) at the University of Louisville as well as the clinical research internship program. On October 1st, I officially 'retired' from the University of Louisville and moved to gratis faculty. My new role involves leadership of the Norton Infectious Diseases Institute at Norton Healthcare in Louisville KY.
