👩‍⚕️ PhysicianMy journey in public health began during my medical school days, and over the years, life has humbled me in countless ways as I’ve had the privilege to serve others. I am a registered physician from Bangladesh with a deep dedication to advancing public health. I worked as an indoor medical officer at Panorama Hospital Ltd,also worked remotely as a healthcare recruiter for Noor Staffing Group, facilitating the placement of USMLE-qualified doctors in locum positions across the U.S.🎓 Educational BackgroundI feel incredibly honored to have been awarded the Commonwealth Scholarship in 2024, allowing me to pursue an MSc in Public Health at the University of Edinburgh,one of the finest top 20 ranked universities in the world!I feel grateful! My academic journey also includes an MBBS from the University of Dhaka and a clinical training at Birdem Hospital,which further fueled my passion for public health.🌍 Advocacy for ChangeBeyond my medical practice, I am passionate about advocating for universal healthcare, environmental protection, poverty alleviation, and nurturing youth leadership. Since 2017, I have served as an Associate Fellow at The Royal Commonwealth Society, England, where I contribute to important discussions on these issues, albeit in small ways.🌟 Social Impact EntrepreneurshipIn 2017, I founded *One Better World*, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving women’s health & child protection. I am humbled by the recognition we’ve received through fellowships and commonwealth magazine feature, but the most rewarding aspect is witnessing the positive impact we have in the communities we serve!🌐 Global RepresentationI’ve had the privilege of representing Bangladesh at five international funded summits and projects in different countries, fostering cross-cultural collaboration and contributing to global dialogue.💬 Skills and AttributesI strive to continuously improve my skills in communication, public speaking, policy-making, leadership, microsoft word, excel, power point, data analysis, SPSS, Stata, R and other computer skills.
