With over 20 years of experience in data science and machine learning, I am passionate about developing and deploying AI solutions that enhance customer experience and engagement. As the Director of Data Science at Ally, I lead a team of data scientists and engineers who design, build, and optimize chatbots, voice assistants, and natural language processing systems for various banking and financial services. I also collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for conversational AI at Ally. Previously, I was a Senior Research Scientist and an Assistant Professor at the Research Foundation of SUNY and UNC Charlotte, respectively, where I conducted cutting-edge research and teaching in data mining, natural language processing, and machine learning, and published multiple papers in prestigious journals and conferences. I have a PhD in Computer Science from the University at Albany, SUNY, and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution. I have strong skills in Python, machine learning, data mining, and conversational AI. I am motivated by the challenge and opportunity to create innovative and impactful conversational AI solutions that empower customers and drive business value.
