Dr. Sanjay Perkar is a Specialist Pediatrician at Fakeeh University Hospital, Dubai Silicon Oasis. He is also contributing to medical education as an Adjunct Clinical Faculty in the Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Medicine at the University of Sharjah. He has also worked as General Secretary of the Emirates Medical Association - Emirates Pediatric Neonatal Medicine Society. In the past, he has served as a Specialist Pediatrician at Mediclinic City Hospital and as an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer in Paediatrics at Mohammed Bin Rashid University Of Medicine and Health Sciences, DHCC Dubai. Dr. Sanjay undertook his Doctor of Medicine in Paediatrics (MD Paediatrics) from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College at Mumbai, India. After post-graduation, he joined a prestigious academic and research center - All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He has extensive work experience including general pediatrics, pediatric critical care, pediatric emergency medicine, Level III NICU, pediatric nephrology and pediatric oncology. At AIIMS New Delhi, he was also involved in the training of medical graduates and postgraduate students. Further, he worked as a fellow in pediatric critical care at BLK Super Specialty Hospital, New Delhi. As well as his postgraduate dissertation on "Paternal Perceptions of Breastfeeding", he has contributed to various articles in national and international medical journals. Dr Sanjay is a professional life member of- American Academy of PediatricsEmirates Medical Association - Pediatric and Neonatal Medicine Society Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine Indian Academy of Pediatrics – Intensive Care Chapter.
