Sara was raised in Minnesota, USA by two teachers. Her parents passed down their love of education to their daughter which Sara passes on to everyone she meets including her clients, her students at the University of Melbourne, and the people she mentors.Following high school, Sara majored in accounting, with a minor in computers. During her time in university she ran the computer lab, gaining valuable experience.After graduating with honours, she earned her Chartered Accountant License and accepted a position with Ernst & Whinney.Never intimidated by working in a male-dominated industry, Sara excelled and became one of the company’s first Auditors of Outsourcing Contracts at just 24 years old.Despite her success, at age 26 realised something was missing from her life. She decided she wanted to see the world and transferred to Australia to experience a little adventure.Sara would go on to become a National Partner at Deliotte and gained unprecedented recognition as Australia’s leading expert in outsourcing.As a result of her work, Deloitte became rated as the only strong provider of outsourcing consultancy worldwide by Gartner at the time.
