I am a Professor and Research Chair at the Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary. An experienced leader, I am currently directing a number of funded and unfunded transdisciplinary research teams on projects related to academic ethics. I have hands-on experience successfully managing people and budgets in higher education.I serve as the Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal for Educational Integrity, a Q1 (Education) journal published by BMC Springer. My scholarship has been recognized through national and international awards, conferred by the Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education (CSSHE) and the European Network for Academic Integrity (ENAI). I chair a national committee on academic integrity, the Society of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education Committee on Academic Integrity and Contract Cheating (STLHE CAICC).Research expertise: research integrity, research ethics, academic integrity, academic misconduct, academic dishonesty, plagiarism, contract cheating, fraud and corruption in educational contexts, ethics and integrity in educational contexts, higher education, policy, educational leadership.
