• Orient students regarding admissions, placement testing, registration processes, policies, procedures, resources, and programs• Review academic records, placement tests and other standardized test results with students in order to develop course selections consistent with their career choices and degree requirements • Assist in planning and implementation of student development programs and special events, such as registrations, dual enrollment, orientations, college nights, and workshops• Collaborate and serve as a liaison with selected academic departments

• Create, manage, and oversee Student Activity Fee budget • Supervise student organizations, teams, and clubs & personally advise and supervise Student Government and Student Ambassadors; supervise and manage event planning and events (such as, Student Week of Welcomes, Welcome Backs, Club Rush, Veterans Day, Black History Month, Midterm Madness, Spring Fling, Finals Fest, Pi Day, Turkey Trot, Student Awards, • Create and implement Leadership Development Trainings (such as, time management, working as a team, conflict resolution, prioritizing, communication, listening), intramural sports on our campus, Inner Club Council (meetings that allow students and clubs to have a voice on campus), Short Shot financial management series, study groups to aid in student success, After Dark program for nighttime students, • Participate in committees aimed toward student success and retention, while working collaboratively with faculty, staff, club sponsors, and students; for example, Quality Enhancement Plan focused on assisting students where they need help the most and social media committee in an effort to reach out to more students effectively• Participate in related state organizations, such as, Association of Florida Colleges (President for local chapter) and Florida College System Student Government Association (FCSSGA) (District 2 Advisor of the Year and FCSSGA Advisor Training program certificate of completion)

• Created, planned, and facilitated financial aid workshops to assist students in affording college• Received training in advising, admissions, financial aid, and call center• Hosted recruitment events throughout the Brevard county at schools and businesses to promote college enrollment • Marketed the college through print ads, radio commercials, and television commercials
