The influence of biosorbent dose, pH, contact time and temperature on the adsorption process of various metal ions have been studied. Isotherm, kinetic and thermodynamic studies have been carried out to determine various parameters of biosorption and feasibility of adsorption process. Biosorbent were characterized by FTIR, TGA, SEM, BET surface area.Continuous fixed-bed column studies were carried out and Bohart-Adams, Thomas, Yoon–Nelson models were found useful for estimating the model parameters of the fixed-bed column. -
