CEO and co-founder of PointLeader Predictive Analytics, Inc., my work focuses on improving the fairness and validity of employee selection practices. PointLeader is a publisher of applied psychological assessments for use in employee selection, workplace talent management systems, leadership development and career development. We are devoted to the mission of providing fair and valid metrics of high utility to decision makers for the success of persons, groups, and organizations. PointLeader takes a systems approach to these efforts by measuring jobs, persons, performance and training using psychometrically sound, valid set of job analysis, person assessment, and performance measurement tools aligned to a robust competency performance model and benchmarked to national and international data archives and norms.

I have had the great honor of helping my own Choctaw people with their talent management systems, as well as the people of the Iowa, Muskogee Creek, Pottawatomie, Cherokee, Pawnee, Sac & Fox, Tohono O’odham, Bishop Paiute, Big Pine Paiute, Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone, Cold Springs, Tachi Yokut, and Tule Indian Tribes; Big Sandy Rancheria and Kialegee Tribal Town.

Responsible for leading a team of scientists and technology experts in the R&D efforts necessary to establish, implement, and maintain a set of research-based culture-fair talent management tools and systems for use by AIR's government and corporate clients in HR decision making, career development, and predictive analytics for business. Lead psychometrician for MCAT and SHRM AOL.

Coordinator/Chair of the 20+ faculty and 300+ students who teach/learn together in the online Walden University I/O Ph.D. program. My role requires that I coordinate I/O faculty with courses, faculty with Ph.D. students, students with research opportunities, students with industry, courses with the program, and residencies with the program. As a faculty member, I mentor students through their dissertation work, teach I/O courses, mentor junior faculty members, oversee the I/O curriculum, serve as an SME for developing new courses, and I conduct applied research in psychometrics, talent management, and leadership.

Managed seven researchers working out of the Tulsa Psychometric Services Office for Pearson and served as the Lead Psychometrician on a number of large scale, high stakes assessment programs

Directed a team of psychometricians and researchers in the development and validation of unbiased personality and cognitive ability tests for industry. Recruited a team of psychometricians who worked with me on the first project to ever successfully transition an existing large scale, high stakes personality assessment (i.e., HPI) to an IRT framework. The project resulted in item bank based, 3pl pre-equated assessment forms used for selection of TSA airport security screener workforce.

Worked on organizational studies and validation studies for litigation support team, psychometrician on educational measurement team, and handheld technology evaluation team.

Responsible for supporting the research and evaluation capacity of the ODE, providing organizational development, program evaluation, and psychometric expertise. Assisted ODE in developing business strategies as a part of the Baldrige Quality Award program. Conducted studies for Ohio Governor’s office and members of Ohio General Assembly regarding changes in proficiency test scores over time and across race groups. Member of advisory group charged with design of new Ohio K-5 assessment system. Directed two year evaluation of Statewide gifted student identification process and outcomes.
