Serve as a Lecturer in the Department of Counseling, Leadership, Adult Education and School Psychology in the College of Education at Texas State University. Courses taught include: SAHE 5339 (Higher Education & Student Affairs Administration) and SAHE 5354 (Basic Helping Skills). I also support the Student Affairs in Higher Education (SAHE) program with recruitment and admissions efforts, comprehensive exams, and internship opportunities.

• Created and managed the community federal work-study program, which included community partner and student recruitment, guided reflection activities, program assessment and evaluation, and collaboration with Financial Aid, Human Resources, and Risk Management; witnessed an increase in student participation from 5 students in spring 2018 to 35 students and 20 community partners in the 2019-2020 academic year• Redesigned and expanded the Alternative Break program to align with the Trinity Tomorrow strategic plan and make more student-centered: student-led program, enhanced leadership development opportunities, increased alumni engagement, commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion• Coordinated the undergraduate research program: established inaugural Experiential Learning Summit to help summer research and internship students maximize their experience; planned annual Summer Symposium that included more than 220 student presentations; collaborated with Residential Life, Grants Office, Student Accounts, and the Registrar’s Office to process housing requests and fellowship awards; communicated with Department Chairs about research opportunities and application deadlines; developed an assessment plan in concert with the Office of Institutional Research and Academic Affairs; disseminated weekly newsletters to build synergy across the liberal arts, humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences• Recruited, hired, and supervised a Community Engagement Specialist; conducted Organization Capacity Self-Assessment in areas such as program delivery, outreach, performance measurement, and community assessment; co-developed a personal development plan and discussed progress in weekly meetings
