I have had numerous opportunities to assist with the development of businesses, consult, and mentor others - all done successfully and profitably for those involved. With my leadership, management, education, and technology expertise, I continue to grow my portfolio of successful ventures as well as help others. Each program leads to industry certifications as well as to various degrees, including AA, AS, AAS, and BAS, depending on the program. Dr. Gallagan built these programs by developing industry partnerships and expanding into related areas. Responsible for all day to day operations, short, mid, and long term planning, curriculum development, advertising and recruitment, professional development, data driven decision making, partnership and contract development, manage million dollar+ budget, and the implementation of three high school STEM magnet academies: Enterprise Resource Planning, Geospatial Information Systems, Advanced Technology & Software Solutions. George T. Baker Aviation Technical CollegePrincipal/Director of a public secondary and post-secondary career education college. Baker Aviation is one of the largest public FAA Part 147 schools in the Southeast United States. High school students attend on a shared-time basis from over 30 public high schools within the county. Increased adult enrollment to ~1,200 students. Responsible for all aspects of secondary and post secondary education and management, including, but not limited to: scheduling, facilities, human resource management, contracts, multi-million dollar budget, accreditation, financial aid, course and program development (aviation, certificate, and adult education), advertising and recruitment, professional development, accreditation, and FAA (Part 147) responsibilities. Responsible for student achievement, performance, completion, and career placement. Developed numerous partnerships that results in donations in excess of 6 million dollars. Major donations included a Boeing 737, 727, and MD-80. Provided leadership on numerous local and state aviation advisory boards. Increased enrollment, completion, certification, retention, and career placement rates regularly.
