I have been, for the longest time, a stranger on a rock in the north Atlantic. However, since arriving in Newfoundland, I have found and built a home in the departments of Anthropology and German at MUN, and, further, among the queer folk of its Queer community.Over the years I've been involved as a sexual health educator, resource designer, event planner, social media coordinator, and peer counselor. Since getting my Bachelor of Arts and my Platinum level with the Student Volunteer Bureau, I have sought to further my education through a Bachelor of Business Administration, and to further my non-profit clout by embracing positions with both St. John's Pride and the larger social enterprise community.My current position as Director of Campaigns allows for me to continue supporting the MUN student body as I wish I had been supported over my time there.
